Inspired by dogs to live our best life
Helping midlife dog moms create calm, connected lives—by learning from the best teachers they already have: their dogs.
At 52, I’m building something new—from the leash up. After a long career in sales and a long-term relationship, I hit reset. What stayed constant? My dogs. They’ve taught me more about presence, patience, and purpose than any self-help book ever could. So now, I’m using that wisdom to help other dog moms like me thrive.

Why I Started Canine Training in NC
I created this space for midlife women who are ready to reconnect—with themselves and their dogs. My focus is on training the human first—because when we shift, our dogs follow.
This is about real life, real healing, and better habits that stick. Whether you’ve got a leash-reactive pup like my sweet Lily or you just want to feel more grounded on your daily walks, you’re in the right place.

Our Values
Be Present
You’re not “behind.” You’re right on time. We all change every day so we start where we are.
Patience
Dog training should be kind and especially patient with you and your dog.
Confidence
I understand how challenging it is to be a leash reactive dog mama so we only do positive reinforcement to build confidence.
